Canadian smartphone manufacturer BlackBerry is now selling the unlocked editions of its Passport and Classic phones at discounted prices.

GSM Arena reports that the BlackBerry Passport, which was originally priced at $599, is currently being sold for $549, and the BlackBerry Classic, which carried a price tag of $449, is now available for $399. The detailed price list is available at the BlackBerry store.

Also, the BlackBerry Z30 and Q5 are now priced at $229 and $149, respectively. Crackberry reported that prices listed on BlackBerry Passport, Classic, Z30 and Q5 are based on US pricing, but the devices are also on sale in other regions served by ShopBlackBerry.

The BlackBerry's official website described the Passport as a smartphone sporting a 4-5-inch screen size offering a resolution of 1440 x 1440. The BlackBerry Passport runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz along with Adreno 330 GPU. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB flash together with a removable MicroSD memory slot expandable up to 128GB.

The Passport runs on the BlackBerry 10 operating system and is equipped with a 3450 mAh integrated non-removable battery. The website claims that the battery of the device lasts up to 14 hours GSM talk time and up to 14.5 days GSM standby time.

As far as the camera of the handset is concerned, the BlackBerry Passport boasts a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, 5-element f2. 0 lens, backside illumination, 5x digital zoom, LED flash, 6DOF video stabilization and 1080p HD video recording at 60fps. The front-facing selfie camera of the device comes with 2MP with 3x digital zoom, 720p HD video recording in addition to image and video stabilization.

Meanwhile, Ecumenical News reported that the company is reportedly working on another device inspired by BlackBerry Passport and it has been purportedly dubbed as "Oslo." According to rumors, "Oslo" is likely to be similar to the Passport, but will come with round edges and may have a dissimilar speaker grill design.
