'BioShock: The Collection' Remastered: Comparison Trailer Pits Remaster Vs Original

2K Games has released a new clip for its "BioShock: The Collection" remaster and it highlights its key differences from the original title.

"They told me. Son, you're special." The video opens with a voice over, showing a man in a car, looking at his wallet. The first sequence immediately reveals that "BioShock: The Collection" remastered version features clearer images, with more vivid colors, as opposed to the foggy and slightly dull-colored images of the original.

The next sequence showed an aquatic part of the gameplay. The original showed a look of the underwater while the remastered version provided a look at its crystal clear waters. Another comparison is a tower with a presumably full moon behind it and fire in the right part of the screen. The night is foggy initial version while the remastered edition made it distinct that moon enlightened the dark night.

The following sequences show a staircase leading to structure's entry, a statue of a person holding a banner that reads "No gods or kings. Only man," and a city at the bottom of the sea. These are followed by fights, gunshots, and deaths.

Overall, fans are set to relive the events in the "Bioshock" series in a more pristine look, allowing them to enjoy a more realistic gaming experience.

"BioShock: The Collection" serves as the remastered iteration of the "BioShock" video game series, which includes, "BioShock", "BioShock 2," and "BioShock Infinite." The remastered version of the former two titles are set to be free upgrades for gamers who already have the game on Microsoft Windows. The BioShock universe is set to run in 1080p, as per 2K's official website.

2K Games' "BioShock: The Collection" is set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows on Sept. 13.
