'BioShock: The Collection' Release Date, News: ‘BioShock,’ ‘BioShock 2,’ ‘BioShock Infinite’ In Remastered Mode [WATCH]

2K Games has released a video for "BioShock: The Collection," featuring its games in a remastered iteration.

The video opens with a man saying, "Son, you're special. You are born to do great things." It is followed by an accident, with a man drowning, but manages to resurface above the water surface and swim to the tower. Overall, the clip features the gameplay from "BioShock," "BioShock 2," and "BioShock Infinite," which are all published by 2K Games.

According to Digital Trends, "BioShock: The Collection" has broken the tradition of creating a new sequel and instead, it chose to remaster its previous game installments. As per the publication, 2007's "BioShock" showcased its "distinctive" underwater setting and horrifying first-person shooter gameplay. In 2010, "BioShock 2" highlighted Rapture's collapse while 2013's "BioShock Infinite" was set in a Columbian society, which floats above the clouds.

The new clip follows the other clip 2K Games released earlier in August. It emphasized the game's evolution in terms of graphics enhancements, in a comparative sense between the original and the present. With regards to the video specifications, the game is set to run at 1080p and up to 60 frames per second or fps, as per Game Spot. Also, Microsoft players can get a free upgrade to the remastered version, according to the publication.

"BioShock: The Collection" is set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows on Sept. 13.
