Bill Cosby Rape Allegations Latest News: Theresa Serignese, Seventh Woman to Claim Drugging & Sexual Assault

New reports have surfaced about Theresa Serignese who claims that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby back in 1976, making her the seventh woman to speak out about the allegations of rape against the comedian.

Serignese stated that she was 19-years-old when the comedian, who was headlining a show at the Las Vegas Strip at the time, invited her to the after-party. Cosby had allegedly handed her three white pills and then raped her when she was drugged.

Serignese detailed the assault in an exclusive interview with WPTV of West Palm Beach. She said that she took the pills, feeling intimidated by the man, and that the next thing she remembered was that he was having sex with her.

Cosby let her stay at his penthouse suite for several weeks, but asked her to leave when she told him there was a chance she was pregnant, though she eventually realized it was a false alarm.

Serignese also stated in the interview that she first went public with the assault in 2005, where she became Jane Doe ten of 13 anonymous women in a case filed against the man by Andrew Constand. However, the case was later settled out of court and died down.

As allegations started again, Serignese decided to come forward.

"I'm gonna say to Bill Cosby. You do owe me an explanation for why you did this to me," Serignese said to WPTV, "I want an apology. I want you to apologize for hurting me. I want you to apologize for taking advantage of me."

Following the allegations, several establishments and companies have canceled shows and projects associated with Cosby, according to the Guardian. NBC officially canceled a planned sitcom with the star, which was set for next year, while Netflix dropped its planned tribute for the man's 77th birthday.

The Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts, however, intended to go on with their show, claiming that "we are only in a position to judge him based on his career as an entertainer and humanitarian."

Serignese is one among many women who have claimed rape against Cosby.

Supermodel Janice Dickinson spoke out in an interview with Entertainment Tonight and detailed a similar scenario of being drugged and raped, while former publicist Joan Tarshis said she was assaulted twice in 1969.

Barbara Bowman also wrote about the assault she faced when she was 17 in an opinion piece posted in The Washington Post.

Louisa Moritz, actress from the 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', also told TMZ that Cosby entered her dressing room and allegedly forced her into oral sex.

Marty Singer, Cosby's lawyer, issued a statement to TMZ calling the allegations ridiculous.

"We've reached a point of absurdity," Singer claimed.
