Bill Cosby Rape Allegations Latest News: Hugh Hefner Weighs In On Bill Cosby’s Rape Allegations, Calls It ‘Saddening’

Playboy Enterprises Chief Hugh Hefner expressed his thoughts on the sexual assault allegations being made against comedian Billy Cosby recently, and called the allegations "saddening."

Cosby has been engulfed in controversy ever since numerous women came forward and called out the comedian on numerous cases of sexual assault. One of these women is Judy Huth, who filed a lawsuit claiming that Cosby assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion when she was only 15-years-old.

In response, Hefner, who resided at the Playboy Mansion, released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday, saying:

"Billy Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening. I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved."

The Los Angeles Police Department has opened up investigations on what occurred, an incident that Martin Singer, Cosby's lawyer, is calling "unreliable" and "untimely."

Cosby's camp filed a case of their own against Huth in response and are claiming extortion. Huth and her lawyer asked $100,000 for her silence about the matter, but after more women came forward, the amount was increased to $250,000.

However, Huth was not the only Playboy bunny Cosby allegedly assaulted, as ex-bunny P.J. Masten also came forward with the story that Cosby raped her at a Chicago hotel after drugging her.

Masten claimed that she knew of at least 12 ex-bunnies that have been assaulted by Cosby, but are ashamed and frightened to come forward because of their families. However, she claimed that these women have informed her that they were also drugged and then raped by Cosby.

Masten also shared to CNN's Alisyn Camerota that she informed her supervisor of what happened at the time, but she was told to keep quiet as Cosby was Hefner's best friend and therefore no one would believe her.
