‘Big Bang Theory’ Season 8 Release Date, Plot Spoilers: Howard Wolowitz Throws NASA's First Pitch [TEASERS]

CBS' brainy oriented comedy series, 'Big Bang Theory', is currently in its eighth season, and many exciting developments have already been shown in the first two episodes.

Currently, Sheldon is coming back to Pasadena, and will recruit Howard as his one and only student for a course he's teaching. Also, fans should note that Penny is set to get a new job at Bernadette's company.

In Episode 3 titled "The First Pitch Insufficiency," Simon Helberg's character is going to attempt to throw a baseball for the first time ever. What makes this interesting is that he'll risk embarrassment, as he's going to throw it in front of 30,000 people.

"Wolowitz is nervous after NASA asks him to throw out the first pitch at a Los Angeles Angels game. Also, Leonard and Penny try to prove Sheldon wrong after he says that he and Amy is a 'superior couple'," dishes CBS.

Last week, 'The Big Bang Theory' kicked off with a two-part premiere episode featuring Sheldon wearing no pants in Kingman, Arizona after being a victim of robbery. He then called up Leonard, who went along with Amy to pick him up, and take him back to Pasadena.

Meanwhile, Penny went to Bernadette's company and secured a new job. In Episode 2, Mrs. Davis told Sheldon that he has a chance to change his research topic if he accepts the position as a junior professor. Nobody showed up for the class except Howard, who perfectly answered all of his questions. Howard is like Sheldon on an intellectual level, only that the former poses threat to the latter.

As Penny prepares to do well with her new job and tries her best to avoid Bernadette, Amy takes the center stage and enjoys the attention she is getting. But Amy's spotlight won't last long because Penny and Bernadette soon apologize to each other.

'The Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Episode 3 airs tonight, September 29 at 8 PM.
