Beyonce Encourages Fans to 'Say Yes' to Jesus on Destiny's Child Member Michelle Williams' Gospel Track Album (SONG)
It has been years since fans have heard Beyoncé sing about Jesus and thanks to Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams, the R&B diva can be heard declaring, "When Jesus says yes, no body can say no."
The 4-minute track "Says Yes," is off of Williams' upcoming gospel album Journey to Freedom. The song allegedly features Beyoncé and other Destiny's child member Kelly Rowland. To Williams' disappointment, the track was leaked online before it was properly mixed.
"Unfortunately an unmixed and mastered version of a song was leaked today! Wanted it 2 be presented right! Thx for the love though! ?#pissed," Williams tweeted.
Regardless of the leak, fans had nothing but praise when describing the track. Williams was very appreciative and reminded fans to keep the enthusiasm for once the song is officially released.
"I still need the support when it's officially released! Okay? Help your girl reach #1........it's about time right? LOL!!!," she posted in another tweet.
During the "Say Yes," which is a remix on the Nigerian gospel hymn "When Jesus Says Yes," commenters immediately identified that Beyoncé was singing the second verse.
"I'm not worried 'bout a thing / Cause I know You are guiding me / Where You lead me Lord I will go /?I have no fear cause I know who's in control," Beyonce sings.
The Christian Post reported that fans gathered on Tuesday in the streets of New Jersey to catch a glimpse of Williams, Beyoncé, and Rowland, who sources claim were making their way to an undisclosed location to film the video for Williams' new song.
Beyoncé recently caused a stir among Christians with her new video, "Superpower." The video showcases the singer marching along side her Destiny's Child members and others; with one girl in particular is wearing a 666 t- shirt.
Beyoncé has never shied away from mentioning God throughout the years. Early on with Destiny's Child, she was known to occasionally sing a few gospel numbers. Since the five time Grammy Award winning singer parted ways with the trio, the intensity of her Jesus-focused songs has slowed down dramatically.
Since the coming out of Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé's fearless alter-ego; the only time fans have heard the singer talk about God is when she is referring to her very successful hip-hop artist husband Jay Z, and daughter, Blue Ivy.
