'Better Call Saul' Season 3 Release Date, News: Lead Character Bob Odenkirk Hints Series’ Possible Story Arc

"Better Call Saul" lead character Bob Odenkirk has shared his thoughts on the potential story arc for the series season 3.

Odenkirk plays the role of the titular character in "Better Call Saul" and is set to reprise the character in the show's third season. In his interview with Variety, the actor suggested that season 3 could be linked to AMC's American crime television series"Breaking Bad."

The actor said he had crazy ideas and he would love to see some of Saul during the years of "Breaking Bad," but off-screen, out of his office, and not in his Saul mode. For Odenkirk, he was curious on what the person was.

Odenkirk also laid down his ideas on the upcoming "Better Call Saul" season 3. In the same interview, the actor said that Mike and Jimmy could be sitting in a tree or in a parking attendant's booth. He also mentioned him and Mike squaring off together, which was just always fun and made him laugh. The actor said that it was a great burst of energy to be working with his co-actor Jonathan Banks like that.

In another interview with Deadline, Odenkirk praised "Better Call Saul's" storytelling. He said that people had an immense amount of patience for well-crafted storytelling and that did not really need bells and whistles. For the actor, what people got in the show was the very high standard Vince and Peter set themselves, adding that they all got to trust that they were going somewhere.

AMC's "Better Call Saul" season 3 is expected to premiere in early 2017.
