Bethesda at E3 2015 News: Game Developer Promises ‘Fallout 4’ Release in 2015 & ‘Doom 4’ in 2016 [VIDEO]

Bethesda Softworks fans will be delighted to know that the game developer and publisher has promised at its press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 in Los Angeles that it will release 'Fallout 4' in 2015 and 'Doom 4' in 2016. The company also plans to release 'The Elder Scrolls Legends' sometime later this year.

'Fallout 4'

Latin Post reports that fans of 'Fallout' will finally be seeing 'Fallout 4' seven years after the release of the previous game 'Fallout 3' and go into the post-apocalyptic sandbox in the upcoming flagship video game title. Bethesda has claimed that 'Fallout 4,' which is set in Boston, will be the biggest as well as the most expansive edition in the series.

As of now very little information regarding the game is available, but Bethesda did divulge a few things regarding the plot, characters, and world creation. Players will start on by creating their character, either male or female, "on a beautiful Sunday morning." This time, each character will have its own voice and it is delightful to know that players will be able to start raising your own dog companion. However, major part of the game takes place 200 year later.

While not much additional detail is known about the game, Bethesda has confirmed that the game will be available on Nov. 10 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

'Doom 4'

Bethesda has promised that 'Doom 4' will be released during the first half of 2016 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Like 'Fallout 4,' even 'Doom 4' will eventually hit the shelves after being passed around developers for several years. If the trailer released by Bethesda at the E3 is anything to go by, the upcoming first-person shooter video game will be a sight to watch.

In this game, players will be exploring Mars and a mysterious connection between the UAC Corporation and a demon army from hell. If this appears to be somewhat akin to the classic 'Doom,' it is mainly because it sounds like it. Players can expect conventional multiplayer modes like deathmatch, clan arenas, and domination in 'Doom 4.'

'The Elder Scrolls Legends'

Fans of the 'Elder Scrolls' fans will get another opportunity to experience one of their favorite fantasy realms because of an upcoming free-to-play "strategy card game" for PC and iOS titled 'The Elder Scrolls Legends.' However, Bethesda has not revealed much apart from the trailer. According to The Verge, the game closely resembles Blizzard's popular fantasy strategy card game, 'Hearthstone.' This game will be released sometime later this year.
