Is Bethenney Frankel, age 44, of Real Housewives of New York City dating Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet, 43?

The rumors have been flying for a month, and now Bethenny, who is in the midst of finalizing her divorce from Jason Hoppy, is talking about it, sort of.

"I am dating and I am having a really good time," Bethenney, mogul of Skinnygirl Cocktails, said when asked about the rumors by the Today show. She referenced her book, I Suck at Relationships, "I talk about working the burners. You want something on simmer, something boiling, taken something off." She goes on to say, "I may be working the burners. I think that's what women should do. I haven't been that lucky in relationships, so it's going to be a while until I profess my undying love."

She says when asked for details, specifically about Stonestreet, "I'm not making it a habit of confirming or denying anything because then it will be like roaches, you'll have to kill them all. So I'm just saying that I'm happy, and in the fall I intend to be very, very, sexually active. I have big plans for that."

When pressed about the relationship again by a caller on Watch What Happens Live on Bravo: "Spill the beans, Skinnygirl. What's really going on with you and Eric Stonestreet?" Bethenney hinted at more than friendship: "Eric Stonestreet and I are friends. He's an awesome guy. I don't confirm or deny dating rumors and that's what I'm saying," She goes on to say, however, "Eric's awesome. As I said today, he's a great actor. And we're sleeping together tonight. He's at my apartment right now. So, you know?"

The couple met in April at a CAA upfront party and have been seen to be close since then. "They are hanging out. They are having fun and she likes his company," PEOPLE was told by a source.
