Ben Stiller News: Actor Spotted in Rome Soon after Mother, Comedian Anne Meara, Passes Away
Just a day after losing his mother, Ben Stiller is out and about in Rome with his wife walking the streets of the city. Stiller, son of comedian Anne Meara who recently died at age 85 also thanked everyone who have said their condolences to the family.
The married couple, Stiller and wife Christine Taylor were both still smiling after a rough day and apparently decided to take a little walk together in Rome since Stiller is currently filming Zoolander 2 in Italy. Stiller also just posted his gratitude for all those who remembered his mom and posted several messages on social media.
"Thank you so much for all the kind words about Anne," Stiller posted on his twitter earlier this Monday on Memorial Day. "All of us in our family feel so lucky to have had her in our lives," he added. Indeed all the words about Meara were kind saying that the comedian was gracious, loving and funny of course.
Several celebrities, including 'Avengers' star Samuel L. Jackson took to twitter his heartfelt message for the comedian who just passed away. "I did 2 films with Anne Meara, a lovely, gracious & Funny Lady. We lost one of the Good Ones! RIP Ms Anne," Jackson said on twitter.
James Woods also apparently saw Meara as a lovely and gracious lady posting on his twitter writing, "Anne Meara was a lovely, funny, sweet artist. She gave our profession so much of herself. I will miss her. Rest in Peace," he wrote.
Meanwhile Kevin Christy recalled one funny moment he had with the former comedian writing on his twitter, "Anne Meara just after meeting me told me to fix my teeth. She was a hilarious bad ass. R.I.P."
Anne Meara left wonderful memories to her loved ones and her colleagues in her professional career. Rest In Peace.
