Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Divorce News: Couple May Continue Living Together After Divorce Announcement

Although Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are reportedly ending their 10-year marriage, the famous Hollywood couple will continue to live together even after their divorce announcement. After their divorce announcement on Tuesday, it was disclosed that the two had actually split several months back, but plan to remain housemates.

IB Times quotes a report in People magazine saying that both Affleck and Garner wanted to make sure that their divorce doen't turn ugly and both are committed to do the best for their children, who are their "top priority." According to sources, Affleck and Garner plan to share their $17.5 million estate in Los Angeles, which they acquired in 2009. The magazine also claimed that both the actors living together will help them to be better co-parent and, at the same time, make it easier for their children to accept their separation.

The magazine claimed that a source told them, "They plan on co-parenting and doing absolutely everything in the best interest of the kids."

Interestingly enough, the couple publicized their divorce on Tuesday, one day after the 10th marriage anniversary, by issuing a joint statement to TMZ. In the statement, the couple said that they had put "much thought and careful consideration" while taking the decision. They added that, although they no longer planned to stay married, they still shared "love and friendship for one another."

However, both Affleck and Garner have vowed to be silent on the matter after releasing the initial statement and have requested privacy.

Affleck and Garner married in June 2005 and were were expecting their first child, daughter Violet, now 9, at the time of their wedding. The two met two years before their marriage on the set of 'Daredevil.' When Affleck met Garner, he was engaged to pop-music star Jennifer Lopez. Initially, they kept their relationship very low-key, avoiding the public eye.
