Bayern Munich vs Barcelona Live Stream, Game Preview: How to Watch La Liga Football Online

All eyes will undoubtedly be centered on former Barcelona player and manager Pep Guardiola when he makes his return to Camp Nou as the coach of semifinal foe Bayern Munich, but as revered as he is in his former stomping grounds, there will be no grand celebration awaiting him.

"It is necessary to honor Pep and I believe it has to be spontaneous. We won't organize anything. There'll be no video or anything. He comes with all the honors but also to win. After the game we can salute him," Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu made clear recently.

He will also be facing a team that's even better recently than its already impressive season. The Catalan, in its last five games, have scored 20 goals, and have conceded a grand total of zero.

Luis Suarez have also lived up to his big-money transfer from Liverpool, scoring five goals in his last two games, and 10 in his last eight appearances for Barcelona. He completes the triumvirate of massive threats along with Lionel Messi and Neymar, with the trio netting in 108 goals between them.

Bayern has not been as sharp in this most recent stretch. Their 6-1 beat down of Porto in the second leg of the quarters came at the heels of a 3-1 loss in the first leg. They were also 0-2 losers to Bayer Leverkusen the last time out.

The German club will also be without winger Arjen Robben, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the season with a calf injury. Franck Ribery and Robert Lewndowski are also questionable with both nursing their own injuries.

These factors are in clear contrast with Barca, who apart from displaying top form, have a relatively healthy squad coming into the first leg of the semis. The only thing going for them is history. Barca have never beaten Bayern without Guardiola calling the shots; whether that will be enough remains to be seen.

The match is slated to kick-off on Wednesday, May 6 at 7:45 UK time, you can catch the action via live stream here.
