Electronic Arts game "Battlefield Hardline" has already experienced a delay in its release, which was originally slated to come out last October. However, International Business Times Australia reports, though, that fans of the game will soon be able to try the latest installment out.

The open beta for "Battlefield Hardline" will run from February 3 to February 8, and will also be made available for download to players across the globe, the press release sent to IBTimes Australia states.

According to the same release, PC players will be ale to download the beta version through EA's Origin platform, while console users can download "Battlefield Hardline" on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

The download size for the game on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 is between 10-11 GB, and just under 4GB for those using PS3 and Xbox 360, according to IBTimes Australia.

PC Players were allowed to pre-load the "Battlefield Hardline" beta last Monday.

The "Battlefield Hardline" release was delayed after June's Electronic Entertainment Expo when a closed beta test was released.

"What was interesting was the response at E3 was actually in some ways the opposite, that people went "Oh, that's Battlefield but I wanted it to be more different, I want ti to be more cops and robber-sy and more specific, and more different features, and more different maps, and more different modes,' And that was again part of what we are trying to do here," "Battlefield Hardline" developers told IBTimes back in September.

The "Battlefield Hardline" beta trailer offers a glimpse into the work EA has put in to give fans what they want.

A blog post in the "Battlefield" website stated that open beta players will have access to three multiplayer maps and modes for the duration of the beta program, according the IBTimes report.

Three modes"”hotwire, heist, and conquest will be available in varying configurations across three maps"”Downtown, Dust Bowl, and Bank Job.
