Battlefield 5 Release Date, News: Available For PC, PS4 and Xbox One; Game Settings On World War 1?

Gamers who are patiently waiting for an update regarding Battlefield 5 will be waiting no more. There's a rumor among the enthusiasts that the game settings will be on World War 1.

Swiss retailer World of Games posted a listing via social media and NeoGAF revealing the said setting. The list reads as "Mehrspieler Taktik Shooter im 1. Weltkrieg," or "Multiplayer tactical shooter in WW1" when translated to English. According to PC Gamers. , the World War 1 description has been removed but to no avail.

"How do you end up with something that isn't basically Team Fortress 2, but with each team limited to nine Snipers and a Heavy?" as the website asked. Well, fans will need to find out more accountable evidence to make the rumor more plausible.

The news about the games' work in progress has been verified in December 2015 by a DICE Senior Executive, notes HEXUS. As for the release date, it will be available simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Oct. 26.

The website also noted that they are looking forward on how the developers will execute Battlefield 5 in the rumored setting. The first Great War was just a history among many of us, but they stated that the output might have "Webley revolvers and/or Lee Enfield bolt action rifles with bayonets attached (in erm... Blackadder Goes Forth)," and so we quote.

Apart from that, it is widely expected that there will be heavy tanks, machine guns, artillery, gas, trenches, and tunnels among other assumptions.
