'Battlefield 5' Release Date News, Rumors: Gameplay Going To Take Place During World War I?
"Battlefield 5" is now in development and rumors say that it might take place during World War I. The series' founder DICE Interactive will be returning to revive the hype of the game after receiving bad reviews from its most recent installment, "Battlefield Hardline."
According to The Bit Bag, game producer Joe Brammer, tweeted his thoughts about the development of the game, saying "I've seen things #BF5 things and I am beyond excited." He deleted that tweet right after because of the overwhelming volume of reaction and questions from the fans. He followed it up by posting "Ha, clearly a mistake on my part! A massive oversight on the desperation for squeezing information! ;)"
Brammer's forte is not modern warfare but rather World War II themed shooter games. He was the executive producer of World War 2 shooter, Battalion 1944. Although this time the game might be in the World War I setting. EA didn't give out any confirmation about this rumor. However, we might see the game get launched within October 2016 to March of next year.
