'Battlefield 1' News: Players To Be Merged Between ‘Battlefield 4’ And ‘Hardline’

Electronic Arts DICE's "Battlefield 1" is in full swing and it is revealed that the title is set to be merged "Battlefield 4" and "Hardline" multiplayer.

The studio is bound to introduce a new user interface on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in preparation for "Battlefield 1," Reddit user Snowstandards has learned. It is revealed that the said interface is set to launch first in "Battlefield 4," allowing gamers to have a more "intuitive" and "centralized" gaming experience.

As per the publication, the gameplay modifications cover a merged interface for players to be capable of switching among their "Battlefield" games from the user interface, as long as they own them; a recommendation engine to allow player suggestions with regard modes, maps, and others; and functionality for squad formation prior to a match entry.

It is further revealed that "Battlefield 1" is set to be released with the latest user interaface, which also heads to the "Battlefield Hardline" soon.

According to Games Radar, "Battlefield 4" stays as a popular online shooting game following its release in 2013. With the changed interface, it is assumed that players would be able to switch between games more easily and faster.

"Battlefield 1" is Electronic Arts' forthcoming first-person shooting video game, 14th installment in the "Battlefield" game franchise, and the initial prime entry in the game series, following 2013's "Battlefield 4." Set in the first World War, the title allows players to use the weapons in the historical event, which include flamethrowers, mustard gas, artillery, and bolt-action, automatic, and semi-automatic rifles.

Electronic Arts' "Battlefield 1" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One on Oct. 21.
