‘Battlefield 1' Release Date: Gameplay Trailer Shows More World War Setting, Military Green Console Details Unveiled

Electronic Arts DICE has released another look at the gameplay for "Battlefield 1." Also, details on the game's Military Green Xbox One S bundle have surfaced.

The clip opens in a room, presumably a hospital, with the character sleeping. The next sequence feature flashbacks from the game's World War I inspiration, which sees gun shots, explosions, hitting, stabbing,  and other forms of combat.

The scene is followed by the text that reads "More than 60 million soldiers fought in "The War to End All Wars. It ended nothing. Yet it changed the world forever. What follows a frontline combat. You are not expected to survive."

Succeeding sequences feature the World War environment, giving players a taste of what to expect from the kind of gaming experience the game is set to give them when it comes out.

In other news, details have surfaced with regards to the game's $350 one terabyte military green model. According to Game Spot, it comes with a matching controller, along with a digital copy of the game's Early Enlister Deluxe Edition. The military green console also includes the DLC featuring the "Hellfighter" Pack, "Lawrence of Arabia" Pack, and "Red Baron" Pack, in addition to the Behemoth vehicles, five Battlepacks, and one-month EA Access subscription.

The aforementioned console is set to come out in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States on Oct.18, the same day when the game's Early Enlister Edition goes live.

Developed by EA DICE, "Battlefield 1" is set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 21.
