'Battlefield 1' News, Gameplay: Closed Alpha To Come Out Soon?
It seems a new trailer showing the gameplay for "Battlefield 1" surfaces every day, the latest of which is the almost half an hour clip in 4K no less. In other news, a closed Alpha may be available this week.
The trailer was uploaded on YouTube by user Jackfrags who said that it was upscaled so fans can watch the gameplay at a higher bit rate. However, there are other options as well and viewers can choose from a range of 144p to 2160p60 as the max resolution.
According to the report, scheduled sometime this week is a closed alpha where developers can test out the maps and content previously revealed by EA using white-box techniques. However, there's no confirmation yet as to the date of the event.
Meanwhile, EA announced the news that those who were not able to attend the EA Play event in Los Angeles on June 12 can still get their hands on the game much earlier than its release date. An Open Beta will soon be launched, and those who signed up in the Battlefield Insider can get the first dib on the gameplay.
"EA Access and Origin Access members will be able to play for a limited time before the release date, too," it said. "And if you pre-order the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, you'll be able to start playing on October 18, three days before the release date."
EA also confirmed the news about the release date for "Battlefield 1," which is scheduled on Oct. 21 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Origin on PC.
