'Battlefield 1' Gameplay Trailer: Teaser Shows Transportation, Horses, Weapons, Bulletproof Helmet

Electronic Arts has released its latest gameplay trailer for "Battlefield 1" and it reveals various transport and weapons, along with a bulletproof gear.

The trailer opens with footage from World War I, which features aircrafts in the sky, soldiers on horses, explosions, and death. Further scenes give fans a look at the first world war with antiquated war vehicles, horses, and aircrafts, in addition to shooting scenes.

The next sequence also shows the rifles which were used by most soldiers and snipers during the historical war. However, one unique item to note is that players will be able to use a bullet-proof helmet in the game. In the trailer, a sniper shoots another solder sporting said gear; but the bullet does not penetrate the solid helmet.

Overall, players are set to relive World War I through the upcoming title, using various modes of transportation and weapons.

According to the game's official website, the title's Open Beta is set to include the Sinai Desert map and this is bound to come out this month.

"Battlefield 1" is Electronic Arts' forthcoming first-person shooting video game and 14th installment in the "Battlefield" game franchise. Set in World War I and inspired by other historical events, the title let players utilize World War I weapons like automatic and semi-automatic rifles, bolt-action rifles, flamethrowers, mustard gas, and artillery.

Electronic Arts' "Battlefield 1" is set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 21.
