It's official, the filming of the DC Comics movie 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' has just been wrapped up. Recently, director Zack Snyder took to his Twitter handle to announce, "Just wrapped an amazing few weeks filming in New Mexico! Awesome crew+locations! Great experience. Thanks New Mexico!"

According to Christian Today, the director also posted the image of a road where the film was shot some weeks back. However, though the filming of the highly anticipated movie is complete, plenty of post-production work remains to be done.

The website reports that while fans of the Batman and Superman series will need to wait for some more time to see their favorite super-heroes in action; Bada**Digest has leaked a major spoiler. The media outlet reveals that even before the film's plot takes off, a central DC character is already dead. It further talks about a memorial plaque to James Gordon, hinting that possibly the commissioner has died. This is probable because the producers did not cast any actor for this role.

As a result, fans have started questioning about the probable consequence of Gordon's death in the upcoming 'Batman' franchise installments. However, Bada**Digest has assured that Gordon's demise is unlikely have any effect on the upcoming sequels of 'Batman' franchise.

Nevertheless, it is still uncertain whether Ben Affleck will be playing the role of Batman after the release of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. It is being speculated that in case Warner Bros. signs the actor for more films of the 'Justice League' franchise, the chances of Affleck reprising his role as Batman seems unlikely.

In addition to Affleck, 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' also stars Henry Cavill in the role of Superman.

Now that the filming of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is almost complete, fans of both Batman and Superman are eagerly waiting to watch their favorite superheroes on the screen when the movie releases in March 2016.
