'Batman vs Superman' Movie Cast News, Plot Rumors: Jeremy Irons and Jason Momoa Reveal 'Dawn of Justice' Spoilers
'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' stars Jason Momoa and Jeremy Irons both revealed what fans can expect to see regarding their characters in the upcoming blockbuster film.
"He is quite a different Alfred than we have seen so far. Zack Snyder had very clear views about what he wanted," said Irons to The Hollywood Reporter in reference to replacing fellow screen legend Michael Caine as Batman's trusty butler and father figure, Alfred Pennyworth.
"I would just say he's (Alfred) more hands-on perhaps than just a butler."
Irons hinted that Alfred will aid the Dark Knight on the battlefield in the future movie due to the character's previous history as British intelligence agent. Fans know that Alfred was somewhat of a superhero himself, prior to becoming the Wayne's family butler and caretaker.
In other 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' news, Irons' future co-star Jason Momoa also explained how his role of Aquaman will be much different from the previous depiction of the classic Justice League member from the popular 'Super Friends' cartoon (1973-1986).
"Aquaman will be a bad-a**, otherwise, they wouldn't cast me for the role," said Momoa, according to a DCU Movie Page report.
The former 'Game of Thrones' actor will appear in four DC movies, including an Aquaman standalone film in a few years.
"Momoa was hired as Aquaman for a LOOOONG time before the official release, but have to keep his mouth shut," according to DCU Movie Page source.
The new 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey and Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter.
The 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' film is expected to arrive in movie theaters on March 25, 2016.
