'Batman V Superman' News: Henry Cavill Talks Superman, Lois Lane, and Wonder Woman

Zack Snyder's DC cinematic universe has seemed to paint the conventional relationship of Superman with Lois Lane, however now with the inclusion of Wonder Woman, one has to wonder if that is subject to change at any point.

In the comics Superman has held serious relationships with both females, and it has even gone as far as both competing for his love.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Henry Cavill is posed the question as to who he believes Superman should end up with. Before addressing it he makes a statement on females in comic books in general.

"Strong women are nothing new for the comic book world," he said. "I'm glad they are being represented a bit more in film and on TV. Wonder Woman has been around forever, she is an incredibly strong character. She can go toe-to-toe with Superman sometimes."

He then draws the pros and cons of each woman for Superman.

"This is a very long discussion because there are a lot of questions to be asked and answered. I mean who is better for a super-powered alien, a human or a goddess? Yes, the goddess can do all the normal things, which we would think are normal in a relationship, and not have any fear of Superman. But you also need to have that baseline of humanity, which Lois provides. And literally keeps his feet on the ground, keeps him down to earth. So that's more of a debate than an answer."

At the moment, Cavill's Superman character seems to be heavily involved with Lois Lane, but there is no confirmation that love triangle may not come about in future films.

All three characters are set to be featured in 'Batman V Superman' come March 25, 2016.
