‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Release Date, Leaked Trailer News: New 2-Minute Teaser Video
Just in the wee hours of the morning, Buzzfeed was able to find a leaked video of the upcoming trailer for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' which can be seen here. The exciting 2-minute presentation shows some grim scenes of Superman being called a "False God" after a series of testimonies playing in the background.
Further on, Ben Affleck as the playboy philanthropist Bruce Wayne is seen deep in thought staring at his scowling Batman costume while the voice-over says, "That's how it stumps, the fever, the rage. the feeling of powerlessness that turns good men cruel." There are a few action cutscenes in between until a dark and stormy night comes into view for a Batman versus Superman face-off, ending the presentation with an all-geared up Bats saying in his deep and guttural voice, "Tell me do you bleed? You will."
It was only yesterday that director Zack Snyder sent another trail of breadcrumbs to very excited fans of the caped heroes Batman and Superman for the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to be launched in theaters on March 15, 2016. The 20-minute teaser was posted on his Twitter page showcasing the hero's costumes casted in dim lighting.
Snyder tweeted the brief video with the caption," Confirmed 4.20.15 #BatmanvSuperman @IMAX special teaser screening events. Limited space. RSVP."
The tweet alone gave fans quite a fever pitch but too short that it left many viewers hanging. Yet, fans can expect that the trailer may be fully released after it will be shown on IMAX on April 20, 2015.
Leaked information that the full trailer which is expected to be on IMAX will be 15-minutes long, according to Celebration Cinema in Grand Rapids, Michigan, reported by Variety. The presentation is rumored to show more than just the upcoming film. However, nothing official has been published by Warner Bros. Entertainment.
What we know is that the plot of the movie revolves around the creation of the leading members of Justice League which includes Superman to be played by Henry Cavill, Batman to be played by Ben Affleck, Wonderwoman to be played by debutante for a leading role Gal Gadot, and Aquaman played by Game of Throne's star Jason Momoa. In addition to that, Jesse Eisenberg will play the role of the heinous business CEO Lex Luther.
Other involved stars are "Man of Steel" actors and actresses with Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and the new 'Alfred Pennyworth' acted by Jeremy Irons.
Although Warner Bros. has not given any official statement about the Batman v Superman plot with the relation to the supposed storyline about the creation of the Justice League, speculations are rising steadily that US-based entertainment company maybe making a total of three films for the Justice League story arch starting with Batman v Superman. This is because Warner Bros. has reserved 2017 and 2019 for a proposed Justice League movie. And also, it would seem that an almost 2-hour movie time simply would not compress all possible angles with the heroes expected meet-up.
Other expected movies from the company are Wonderwoman (2017) with Gal Gadot, The Flash (2018) with Ezra Miller, Aquaman (2018) with Jason Momoa, Shazam (2019) with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Cyborg (2020) with Ray Fisher and a new Green Lantern movie in 2020 as well.
