'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Release Date, Latest News: Film Will Not Be Hit According To Computer Geeks?

More than a month ago before "Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" kicks off in theaters, excited DC fans cannot wait for more bits about the much-awaited superhero flick. However, a group of computer geeks stated that the film might only gather a small amount of profit in its opening week.

A group of modern technology wizards conducted a specific calculation by using an algorithmic method to crunch the number. And according to them, the results about the movie's sales will only be about 32% or an estimated monetary value of $7.3 million profit, notes Comic Book Resources.

Notably, the method they used is "based off of data collected from 2,506 films released between 2000 and 2010, and factors in numerous elements such as budget, cast, director and release date." More than that, the results are said to be the range of a reasonable bracket which an "average studio executive" could anticipate.

For that, Cinema Blend thinks the despite huge anticipation, the film might not deliver an expected high sales compared to the upcoming superhero films, like "Captain America: Civil War" to mention one. Should this happen, Warner Bros. is said to remove Zack Snyder on the team and give the baton to Ben Affleck for a solo "Batman" film.

Amidst the alarming speculations, fans should believe that the final results may only be concluded once it starts showing in cinemas.

The film features Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and many more. "Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" will hit the big screens on March 26, 2016.
