'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' Cast, Release Date: Ben Affleck Rewrites Script In BatSuit? Premieres On March 25
In line with Zack Snyder's upcoming DC Comics film "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," it has been revealed that Ben Affleck, who plays Batman, rewrote some parts of the script. Also, the film is expected to gross more than a hundred dollar million when it hits theaters.
According to Comic Book Movie, Affleck had been less than excited with the previous script of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" that he had spent some time rewriting some of its parts, even though he was in his Batsuit.
Affleck reportedly would go into wardrobe and get all suited up for the day in his Batman suit and would sit around and rework the script. As per US Weekly, the actor had not been thrilled with it and would find himself on multiple occasions fixing it. The publication added that Affleck was excited to do a Batman film and he was fascinated by the character.
In other news, "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is predicted to gross between $100 million and $140 million on its opening weekend, according to Deadline. As per the publication, Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games" in 2012 holds the record for a March film release. The film reportedly grossed $152.5 when it was released. Snyder's "Man of Steel" followed in 2014 with $116 million in its opening weekend.
"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" serves as the path to the rise of the Justice League. Aside from Affleck, the film stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ezra Miller, Amy Adams, and Jesse Eisenberg.
Snyder's "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25.
