'Batman v Superman' Cast News, Spoilers: Fight Choreographer Guillermo Grispo Hints Major Showdown
The collaboration of two of the most popular characters in comic book lore on the big screen has everyone eager to find out any bit of detail regarding "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," even with the movie release still close to a year away.
In an interview with Spanish website Los Ander Diario, stunts and fight choreographer Guillermo Grispo hinted at a potentially explosive showdown between the two DC superheroes.
The interview, which Batman-News picked up and translated, Grispo says that the fight between Batman (played by Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) is "one of the most important sequences" of the upcoming blockbuster.
Grispo revealed that his partner Ryan Watson aided him in designing the fight sequence that involves "exchange of punches and physical movement."
The choreographer, though, refused to reveal anything about the plot details. "Look at Warner Bros., they are very strict, so I can't say much, but it's no surprise if I say Batman and Superman come face-to-face in the movie," Grispo said, sticking to hints already implied by his participation in the movie.
He did let out this intriguing gem, "Batman is going to fight the way I've always dreamed to seeing him fight. He's a character so prepared in martial arts that you can do a lot of things with him."
Grispo has worked in films that include "Conan," "Wolverine," "300," and "Man of Steel."
For fans who are looking for anything regarding the Zack Snyder film, JoBlo has posted images of what the site claims are promotional art used at a Hong Kong International Licensing Show.
Joining Affleck and Cavill in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" are Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, and Diane Lane, among others.
The highly anticipated film is presently in its post-production phase, and has a release date set for March 25, 2016.
