Accompanying last year's reveal of Jesse Eisenberg taking on the role of Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', is a long awaited photo of the character as the titular villain.

The picture comes from EW and it's fairly bland in the detail. However, Eisenberg has clearly shaved his head to better depict the character.

Snyder offers some words to describe the character he plans on bringing alive on the big screen. He states:

"He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course."

"Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake. He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there."

It will be interesting to see what the director can craft out of this actor. While Eisenberg doesn't typically play a villain in most of his movie roles, we've seen him demonstrate a fairly wide range in many of his films, along with his aptitude to hold a lead role.

Lex Luthor is the only official villain announced for 'Dawn of Justice'. Along with this we also have a confirmed Aquaman appearance by Jason Momoa, and a Wonder Woman cameo by Gal Gadot.

The movie hits theaters on March 25^th, 2016.
