'Batman: The Telltale Series' Issues News: Telltale Games Title’s Frame Rate, Resolution Issue Not Resolved

Telltale Games' "Batman: The Telltale Series" is experiencing large issues on its Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version, as per reports.

The problem in "Batman: The Telltale Series" PlayStation and Xbox One platforms centers on irregular frame rates and resolution, Game Rant has learned. According to Digital Foundry, as cited by the publication, the title runs at 900p on the PlayStation 4 while 720p on the Microsoft console when the game's technical performance was tested on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Prior to the aforementioned issues, Telltale Games' title has already had some issues on Microsoft Windows. As per Eurogamer, the game sound was not at par with the game animation, in addition to the cursor getting stuck in unseen on-screen boxes and subpar frame rates.

It is further revealed that the studio released a game patch for the title; however, it did not do much help, as lags and broken controller inputs were unresolved. Furthermore, the game's failure to load was experienced by some players.

"Batman: The Telltale Series" is Telltale Games' episodic graphic adventure video game, which is based on Bill Finger and Bob Kane's "Batman" comic book series. Set in Gotham City, the title lets players assume Batman's role as a superhero and as his alter ego Bruce Wayne.

Telltale Games' "Batman: The Telltale Series" was released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, iOS, Mac OS, and Microsoft Windows on Aug. 2.
