'Batman: Arkham Knight' DLC Preview, Release Announcement Details

For all Batman: Arkham gamers, this is something that you might want to give yourself or your fellow gamer loved ones for Christmas.

Rocksteady has announced that Batman: Arkham Knight's December DLC will arrive on December 22. The expansion is called "Season of Infamy."

According to Game Spot, The Batman Suit and Bat-mobile concepts will be based on Christopher Nolan's, "The Dark Knight." The Dark Knight suit was added to the game because a massive amount of fans have requested for it. The Batmobile design used in the original Batman: Arkham Asylum will also make a return.

The new "Most Wanted" missions under the Season of Infamy series include Batman taking on Killer Croc, Mister Freeze, Mad Hatter and Ra's Al Ghul.

The British video game developer based in Kentish Town, London, has also posted the finale of "Arkham Insider" video feature 2015, which shows the "Season of Infamy" content. It also features comments from a number of developers, including studio head Sefton Hill.

Rocksteady have made three of the four Batman: Arkham games. Hill hinted that this may be the last game that they will make for the series, although there's no confirmation on that so far.

Season of Infamy is included with the Arkham Knight DLC pass. It can also be purchased individually on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Even though the PC version got a poor score because of a lot of problems, Batman: Arkham Knight's PlayStation 4 edition scored a perfect 10 from Polygon when it was released in June.
