'Batman: Arkham Knight' Batgirl DLC News: New Trailer For Batgirl DLC Reveals New Story

Warner Brothers has released its first trailer for the upcoming Batgirl downloadable content package that will be released for 'Batman: Arkham Knight'.

The downloadable content, which is entitled, 'Batgirl: A Matter of Family' is set before the events that take place in 'Arkham Asylum' and it is the first time that gamer will be able to take control of Batgirl in the video game series.

The downloadable content package, which is made by Arkham Origins developer WB Games Montreal, is not coming from the creator of the series Rocksteady.

An official synopsis for the game has been released as well.

"When the Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and holds him hostage at the Seagate Amusement Park, Batgirl and Robin must fight against the odds to save him and avoid falling victim to the Joker's sinister plan," reads the synopsis. "Trained by Batman, Batgirl's combat combines with unparalleled hacking abilities to take down enemies, control objects and solve puzzles."

So far, 'Batgirl: A Matter of Family' has only been announced as available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The PC version of 'Batman: Arkham Knight' is still struggling to overcome several technical difficulties. Otherwise, since its release, 'Batman: Arkham Knight' has received rave reviews from many critics.

his game, which will be the last in the series has been described as well, as having a sense of finality about it.

It builds on the unique fighting style of the game, by adding new moves and enemies and builds upon the open world of Arkham City.
