'Bates Motel' Season 5 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Norman’s Mind Explored; Five Names Who Can Play Marion Care Leaked?

Fans are set to visit Norman's mind in "Bates Motel" season 5. Also, five actresses' names are attached to play Janet Leigh's character in the series.

Norman is now living inside his mind, viewing his mother Norma as if she were still living. According to "Bates Motel" showrunner Kerry Ehrin, as cited by Inquistr, Norman's thoughts will be part of the key plot points of the fifth season, with the remaining episodes circling on the sad, yet beautiful co-dependent love story between a son and his mother.

Ehrin revealed that Norma's death does not only impact her son, but also another character. The showrunner said in a statement that that obsession with Norma would absolutely drive the final season and really keep her exactly in the center of it, not only for Norman but for Romero.

As per the publication, "Bates Motel" season 5 is also set to see story arcs of supporting characters like Norman's brother Dylan, his girlfriend Emma, and Romero, who is eager to show evidence that Norman murdered his mother.

Talks have also surfaced that Marion Crane, the character previously played by series actress Leigh, is set to appear in "Bates Motel" season 5.

According to Zap2it, five women are attached to the role and they include Sara Paxton, who has notable horror acting skills; Lizzy Caplan, who looks like the character without much effort; "The Evil Dead" star Jane Levy, who is known for her iconic scream in the shower sequence; "American Money" actress Katherine Isabelle; and Vera Fermiga's younger sister Taissa Farmiga, who is known for her role in "American Horror Story."

While it is positive that Crane is set to be part of Norman's life in the series, the showrunner or A&E has yet to make an announcement.

"Bates Motel" season 5 is set to premiere in 2017.
