'Bates Motel' Season 4 Premiere Date, Trailer: Norma Ready To Risk Everything, Norman Loses His Last Grip?
"Bates Motel" will be returning for its fourth and probably second to the last season. According to ScienceFiction.com, co-creator Carlton Cuse recently said that the series will indeed have only five seasons:
"Yes, [it will be] five seasons. Kerry and I have a pretty clear roadmap. We have a pretty clear plan of where we want to go and we want to bring this story to its inevitable conclusion. I think Bates is not its best version if it's an open-ended series," he said.
With that said, we might see the twisted change of Norman, played by Freddie Highmore, in this contemporary prequel to the film, "PSYCHO," come into fruition sooner than what we have thought.
According to Gotham News, Norma, played by Vera Farmiga, will be very much afraid and will be willing to risk everything, just to get the best professional help there is to cure Noman's condition. As Norman tries really hard not to lose his grip on reality, his relationship with Norma will become unstable because of what she is trying to do.
The psychotic drama thriller will start to pick up its pace as the series comes to a close. "Bates Motel" was first aired on March 18, 2013 and current has had three successful seasons. It has a high review score of 86 percent from Rotten Tomatoes' "Tomatometer" while getting an even higher score of 90 percent from the average audience score. It also got a score of 8.1/10 from the International Movie Database.
"Bates Motel" returns for a fourth season on March 7 9/8c only on on A&E.
