Awkward confrontations between Norman and Norma rose in "Bates Motel" season 4 episode 8. Also, the former praises Dylan and Emma and calls them the perfect couple.

"Bates Motel" season 4 episode 8 is entitled "Unfaithful." According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode started called as Norman and Norma had some confrontations due to some issues, such as a huge television and some DVDs. As per the publication, Norma woke up freezing and was unable to sleep. Though she wanted to keep herself warm, she realized that the heater was broken.

Norman was also unable to sleep due to the cold temperature; thus, he went downstairs. He just gave comments on the things inside their house, such as Romero's latest gifts to Norma, and asked the latter why she needed hings like those. When Norma got him to return to bed, Norman appeared in her room and asked to sleep with her.

Bottomline, Norman and Norma just like awake, awkwardly, on the bed together. In line with this Norma said that she guessed they had got a little used to being apart.

"Bates Motel" season 4 episode 8 also saw Norman say that Dylan and Emma were the perfect couple. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Dylan and his girlfriend Emma went to the Bates' house for dinner. Then, Emma went upstairs to say hello to Norman and welcome him for his return. According to Norman, he was thrilled to see her and Dylan together, adding that they were the perfect couple.

According to reports, Norman and Norma are set to work hand in hand as they plot their future in "Bates Motel" season 4 episode 9, which is entitled "Forever." Also, Dylan and Romero opt to make a move concerning Norman's welfare.
