"Bates Motel" actor Freddie Highmore allegedly confirmed that the A&E television series will continue to Season 5 and it might be the best that is yet to come.

Speaking to Hey U Guys, the actor who plays as Norman hinted that the Season 5 is almost official. "We now know we're doing five seasons of the show and that's sort of official," Highmore said.

"We're now sort of racing towards an end point that the writers have established. Which is incredibly exciting and there's no holding back now. I always sort of say that every season is the best but it really is the case on this one."

The news could bring excitement to its avid viewers but before getting to know what really lies ahead for the show's next season, here is what will happen first on the next episode "Bates Motel" season 4 upcoming episode 7 entitled "There's no place like home."

"The fourth season follows Norma (Vera Farmiga) as she becomes increasingly fearful of Norman (Freddie Highmore), going to great lengths to find him the professional help he needs. This complicates their once unbreakable trust as Norman struggles to maintain his grip on reality. Meanwhile, Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) once again finds himself drawn into their lives," based on the plot written online.

Meanwhile, in a promo teaser releases in YouTube, Norman calls his mother to check if she's okay but he will later find out that Alex is with her, as described by Enstarz. For that, Norman insists that he will go home but Norma was worried about his son.

The next episode of "Bates Motel" Season 4 will air on April 25 at 9 PM at A&E.
