'Bates Motel' Season 3 Finale Recap: Norman Adds to the Death Toll in 'Unconscious'
The Season 3 finale of Bates Motel aired on Monday night, and things got a little bit crazy in the episode, titled "Unconscious."
As fans of the series know, the episode began with a lot of big changes for the people living in White Pine Bay.
Caleb (Kenny Johnson) leaves town, Emma (Olivia Cooke) finds out that her turn had come on the lung transplant list, and Norma (Vera Farmiga) decides to look for professional help for Norman (Freddie Highmore).
Dylan (Max Theriot) is upset about his father leaving, even though he knew it was inevitable.
At first, Emma was reluctant to get the transplant because she knew that her body might reject the organs and she would die almost immediately.
However, Dylan convinced her to follow through with the procedure.
Meanwhile, Norma went to visit a facility called Pine View, which aids people with mental issues.
Norma told her son that she was worried about him and wanted to get him help, which Norman did not respond well too.
He went upstairs immediately and began packing his things, planning to run away with Bradley (Nicola Peltz).
In the previous episode of the show, Bradley invites Norman to runaway with her, but he declines, not wanting to leave his mother.
The DEA is also about to bust Bob Paris (Kevin Rahm).
Officer Romero gave Bob a tip off just moment before the DEA arrived, his interest in Nora conflicting with his sense of justice.
Romero followed Bob to his boat alone where he killed him in order to maintain protection of Norma and Norman. At the end of the episode, Norman murders Bradley, putting her in his trunk and driving his vehicle into the water.
