'Ballers' Season 3 News: Star Dwayne Drops What To Expect From Comedy Show?

Fans are set to see the upcoming third season of "Ballers" and as per reports, the show is set to land on HBO. Also, "Fast and Furious" star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson talked what to expect from the show.

The Rock's comedy series is up for a third season on HBO, Variety has learned. The news came from the actor himself, as he took a photo of himself to Instagram, with the series' title, season, and HBO logo on it.

In caption, The Rock detailed that the studio had ordered "Baller" season 3 and he said "Congratulations" to their hard working cast, crew, and producers, in addition the series creator "Stephen Levinson." The actor also expressed his gratitude to his home network HBO, mentioning Bloys, Plepler, and the brilliant team for the commitment and the long term vision of the show.

For the fans, The Rock also said "Thank you," as millions of them tuned in every week to join them on what he called as "crazy journey of chasin' greatness" and deal with life's pain. The actor added that the greatest compliment they always heard from the fans was that they were real.

According to The Rock, "Ballers"season 3 is also set to have a "different eye," which presumably means that the series is set to have something new for fans. This could be a new perspective, a new or returning character, or a possible twist to the show's story arc.

"Enjoy and have fun with it and above all else... Ball so hard," The Rock added.

More details on the exact release of "Ballers" season 3 are yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, fans are set to hear The Rock in Ron Clements and John Musker's "Moana" on Nov. 23 and see him drive his wheels in F. Gary Gray's "Fast 8" on Apr. 14, 2017.
