Upon recognizing her nomination for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the BET Awards, Azealia Banks has decided to voice her very controversial opinions on the whole ceremony.

Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Trina, Tink and Dej Loaf have all been nominated for the prestigious award.

Banks has never been one to hold her tongue regarding her distaste for various artists, or for people in general for that matter, however on Monday the rap star decided to voice her disgust with this specific award ceremony on Twitter.

Her tweets followed:

"?@bet has thrown me such much shade over the years. Keep misspelling my name..."

"I really hate getting nominated for ?@bet awards. They're so bogus."

"The female rap award at the bet awards goes to nicki every year, it's not even a real award anymore lol it's a bit of a running joke."

"They should just nominate nicki five times with five different wigs on and pick the best picture lol"

"*hears barbz buzzing in the distance* *rolls up car windows* *sound of little barb heads slamming into glass* *unconscious barbs on floor*"

"*turns up random nicki Minaj verse* *puts car in reverse* *backs up over barbs* *blood splatters* *puts car in drive and takes off*"

Banks then foreshadows the backlash she'll receive on various media outlets, particularly "black" media.

The BET-bashing tweets followed only a couple of days after Banks revealed she would be making an effort to stay out of public feuds.

"I'm done with that. I've done it already. You've seen me curse people out. Let's do something else now," she states in an interview with NME.
