Azealia Banks News: '212' Singer Quits Twitter, Says 'I Need to Give My Mind a Break'

New reports are claiming that both that Iggy Azelea and Azealia Banks have now decided to step away from the social media spotlight and stop frequenting their Twitter accounts.

The two music stars are reportedly quitting their Twitter life for a while and focusing on a few weeks of meditation and reflection. The first who called it quits was Australian rapper Azalea posting her last post for the season: "The Internet is the ugliest reflection of mankind there is," she wrote.

Afterwards, Banks also decided to stop Twitter posts saying, "I missed the beginning of Lent but better late than never. I'm going off tweets until April 2nd!! My management will tweet AB news," she wrote.

The hit "212" rapper however announced that she will be active on other social media sites. "I will still be on Instagram. But I need to give my mind a break. I'll still be checking#BUSSYBOY pics tho," she added.

The two rappers on break for their social media but Banks however posted several already to make up for her long break. "My partition verse is so hot. A shame Beyoncé had it taken down. I love hearing it in the club and on radio!!!" Banks wrote in one post.

In another, Banks talked about her love for Vampire weekend. "I love vampire weekend. Ezra Koenig is my favorite white boy," she wrote. In another random post, Banks posted about her eyebrows. "I really don't get enough credit for how good my eyebrows are," she wrote.

Although it is still unknown whether the two will be back on social media as the two previously experienced online negativity. Both Azelea and Banks are reportedly tired of people who are posting negative messages on their social media accounts.
