Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE has recently unveiled two new handsets, Axon Lux and Axon Mini, along with the Axon Watch.

IB Times reports that the ZTE Axon Lux features a 5.5-inch Continuous Grain Silicon TFT display supporting Quad HD resolution. Presenting the smartphone, ZTE claimed that it the first smartphone in the world to feature three biometric authentication options for unlocking. According to Phone Arena, these include a fingerprint scanner, voice recognition and eye scanner.

The ZTE Axon Lux is powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset with 4 GB of RAM and comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 128 GB, which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone spots a dual camera system of 13-megapixels and 2-megapixels on its rear side. This dual camera system is supported by dual LED flash. In addition, the Axon Lux sports an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies. The device supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, as well as v4.0 Bluetooth connectivity. Axon Lux is equipped with an impressive 3,000 mAh capacity battery unit.

Apast from the premium Axon Lux, ZTE also unveiled the Axon Mini that features a 5.2 inches display. According to Phone Arena, not much is known about the specifications of this device. However, the display of the Axon Mini is enabled with Force Touch technology that has the ability to distinguish between harder and lighter taps on the screen, reports Giz China.

Alongside the Axon Lux and Axon Mini, ZTE also unveiled the Axon Watch, which does not feature the Android Wear, but comes pre-installed with Tencent OS. This is an indication of the fact that this smartwatch will be mainly sold in China. However, NDTV reported that the Axon Watch may come pre-loaded with Android Wear when it is rolled out for international markets.

The ZTE Axon Watch features an AMOLED display of 1.4 inches and supports a display resolution of 400 x 400 pixels. The smartwatch is powered by Snapdragon 400 chipset along with 512 MB of RAM.

The Axon Watch features 4 GB of internal storage. In addition, some of the sensors incorporated into the Axon Watch include the heart rate sensor, barometer, accelerometer and more. Apart from the standard connectivity, this smartwatch also offers GPS and v4.1 Bluetooth connectivity features. It packs a 300 mAh battery unit.
