'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Spoilers, Cast News: Series Actors Post New Character Posters via Twitter
Throughout the week, Marvel released posters for the highly anticipated sequel of The Avengers. On Tuesday, the Avengers re-assembled for a poster showing all of the characters. Wednesday, a poster of just Iron Man made its way around various web and social media sites. Finally Thursday, a poster of Incredible Hulk was released, showing off the mean green machine in all his glory.
More individual posters will most likely be released in the following weeks. Robert Downey Jr., who plays Tony Stark/Iron Man, announced his poster via Twitter. Mark Ruffalo, who play Bruce Banner/The Hulk followed suit the next day tweeting his poster to followers. The Hulk looks as fierce as ever with the ever-present angry look in his eyes. He is set in a crumbled street with a bunch of Ultron robots in the background.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron will feature Earth's mightiest heroes facing their new villain Ultron, played by James Spader, in his attempt to take over the world. Along to help the Avengers are newcomers Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Along with the poster, Robert Downey Jr. also told his fans that there will be a big announcement next week. Fans are eager to hear what the news will be and speculate it to be about the new Avengers film, updates on other Marvel films such as Captain America: Civil War and Ant Man or something more about Spider-Man joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The first Avengers movie was a huge success, breaking records worldwide. The second film The Avengers: Age of Ultron is expected to meet and even surpass its predecessor's records. The Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters on May 1.
