'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Cast News: Marvel to Launch Teaser Video January 12

Marvel Studios delighted movie aficionados by presenting a short video clip of its upcoming movie 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' at the recently concluded 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Los Angeles. The company has also promised to release a new trailer of the much-anticipated movie on Jan. 12.

Christian Today quotes a statement issued by Marvel Studios that reads, "A brand new trailer for Marvel's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is on its way ... tune in to the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship on January 12 on ESPN starting at 8:30 p.m. ET to see the new trailer before 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' hits theaters May 1, 2015!"

However, the contents of the new trailer still remain unknown. Fans have already witnessed some action-packed scenes in the video clip shown during Samsung's "Night with Marvel" at the CES. Some scenes were in slow motion highlighting Quicksilver phasing out miniature Ultron drones, and Iron Man bulldozing Ultron's cronies.

Another scene showed a building owned by Samsung beginning to collapse. However, this was no accident, because Samsung is one of the sponsors of the movie and hence the South Korean tech manufacturer too advantage of the occasion by displaying some of its technological paraphernalia during the event.

As far as the onscreen technological advancements are concerned, Ultron is most prominent. IGN has described the clip displayed at the event as additional footage of the concept art that was employed for the main antagonist in the movie while it was still in the stage of development.

Nevertheless, the clip provided the viewers a glimpse of the threat that the superhero team would have to encounter and the manner in which it would progress all the way through the course of the film.

The 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, making the fans still wait for a long time. As far as the cast of the upcoming blockbuster is concerned, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. will reprise their characters as Captain America, Thor and Iron Man, respectively.

Other members of the cast include Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, and Coby Smulders.
