'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Cast News: Elizabeth Olsen Talks About Scarlet Witch Role

Empire was lucky enough to sit down with Elizabeth Olsen to talk about her role in the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film.

The actress is incredibly talented and fans are hoping that it will showcase in her role as Scarlet Witch, as this will also be the biggest feature film she's starred in. Earlier last year the actress starred in 'Godzilla', but wasn't featured for very long.

In the interview Olsen speaks on what we can expect from her in the "Avengers" sequel:

"Age of Ultron is almost [Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's] origin story, so we don't have one of those montages where heroes learn all of their powers in five minutes. We are still discovering the things we can and cannot do. The extent of her powers isn't fully explored in Ultron. But she can manipulate objects. And she has visions, and she has the ability to share them."

In the comics, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver meet up with the Avengers after breaking free of their father's evil mutant group. Since Marvel doesn't own X-Men I don't think they'll be referencing that part, so it will be interesting to see how the movie plans on spinning that.

Olsen answers a question as to what side her character will be taking, as she is featured in the trailer siding with Ultron.

"Obviously there are plenty of countries in the world that hate America, for whatever history and pain they believe it has caused their own country and their own lives. That is the world we have created for Wanda and Pietro to have been brought up in. What you're told a lot of times growing up is that, that country, those people, their way of living is the reason why we have been bombed. [The Avengers] are the worst evil in Wanda and Pietro's mind, not this guy who hasn't done anything yet."

Fans will get to see Olsen's performance on May 1st in theaters.
