'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron' Spoilers: Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner, Gets More On-Screen Time in Upcoming Marvel Film

Fans of Jeremy Renner are in luck, as his Avengers character, Hawkeye, is set to get more on-screen time in some upcoming feature film, 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.

According to Latin Post, so far in 'The Avengers,' movie goers have seen Hawkeye working with the bad guys as his fellow "S.H.I.E.L.D." operative and close friend Black Widow featured together with "Captain America" in 'The Winter Soldier' which released in 2014. In fact, Hawkeye skipped that adventure with a view to allow Captain America's new friend, Falcon, join him.

The recent blurbs on Twitter say that Hawkeye may possibly not survive the battle, as shown in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron's' recently released trailer, notwithstanding, it is likely that Hawkeye will not exit the Marvel Cinematic Universe in any case.

A side note to that, reported by The Hollywood Reporter said Renner and Amy Adams are getting ready to star together in the sci-fi drama 'Story of Your Life,' a movie adaptation of Ted Chiang's short story.

The report also offered some clues regarding Hawkeye, including, "He will shoot 'Captain America: Civil War' this spring, then segue to 'Story of Your Life' in mid-June, working with Villeneuve, considered one of the hottest directors in town and who just booked the sequel to 'Blade Runner.'"

Another report claimed, "That seems to confirm what Renner teased as a possibility months ago: That he'll be joining Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans in the third 'Captain America' flick, which looks set to pit Cap against Tony Stark in some kind of ideological battle spinning out of the events of 'Age of Ultron."

The second report goes on to elaborate, "'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' directors Joe and Anthony Russo are returning to helm the film, and they've got a lot to handle, because these days the project is looking less like a Cap movie and more like Avengers 2.5. In addition to Downey, Evans and, now, Renner, the film will also feature Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Chadwick Boseman as the much-anticipated Black Panther. It also seems to be the place where Marvel will debut the new incarnation of Spider-Man."

'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' is slated to premiere on May 1 and, after this, Renner will be seen in 'Mission: Impossible 5,' which is slated to hit theaters on July 31.
