'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Spoilers: Upcoming Season to Focus on Reiss Family; Introduce the Beast
When the anime series 'Attack on Titan' returns for Season 2 next year, fans will see the introduction of the Beast as well as the rise of the Reiss family.
Christian Today reports that though the second installment of Hajime Isayama's popular manga series is scheduled for premiere in 2016; fans of 'Attack on Titan' are already thrilled to see Levi Ackerman, Eren Yaeger, and Mikasa Ackerman returning to the screen. While the creators are silent on specific details regarding 'Attack on Titan' Season 2, fans who have read the manga are informed of some spoilers.
Meanwhile, a report in Movie News Guide says that the Reiss family will be in a position of maximum prominent in the next season, since the first part of the story will deal with its history. As the genuine royal family of the kingdom, they are capable of transforming into titans. In addition, viewers will also see the awesome power of the clan, while the members reveal their ability to influence mankind's memories.
The introduction of the Beast is another. This ape-like titan is known for its intelligence as well as the skill to be in charge of its kind. According to iDigital Times, 'Attack on Titan' Season 2 will also see more of Kenny Ackerman, who is the protector of King Uri Reiss and Levi's uncle. Kenny Ackerman plays a vital role in the story as a member of the Military Police Brigade's First Interior Squad.
According to Crossmap, FUNimation Entertainment has recently obtained the rights to release 'Attack on Titan Live Action' movies in the United States. This was disclosed by the company's CEO Gen Fukuga at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015.
Fukuga said, "FUNimation is honored to host the world premiere of Attack on Titan here in the United States with Toho. Attack on Titan is truly a worldwide phenomenon and we are excited to bring the live action movie to theaters across the Americas later this fall."
Recent reports reveal that a number of the scenes that were not shown in 'Attack on Titan' Season 1 yet, will be covered by the 'Attack on Titan' live action movies part 1 and 2. It is expected that these footages will link the first season to the upcoming installment.
