'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Release Date Rumors: Series to Return in 2016?
While there is no confirmation regarding the release of the Season 2 of 'Attack on Titan', the popular television anime adaptation based on manga by Hajime Isayama, Production I.G, Crossmap claims that production of the season began in October 2014 and it is likely to return to the small screen in 2016. However, the air date of the anime's English-dubbed version has yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, IBTimes reports that the sequel to the "Attack on Titan Part 1: Crimson Bow and Arrow" titled "Attack on Titan Part 2: Wings of Freedom" will hit the theaters in Japan on June 27. Earlier, during the premier of "Attack on Titan Part 1: Crimson Bow and Arrow," director Tesuro Araki together with the actors Yui Ishikaw (Mikasa), Yuki Kaji (Eren) and Marina Inoue (Armin) had announced the making of the second season of the popular anime.
While the premiere day is almost five months away, fans can in the meantime prepare for a visit to the Universal Studios in Japan to witness the exceptional "Attack on Titan: The Real Exhibit." While the fans are visiting the studio, they cannot afford to overlook a 49-foot Eren brawling alongside a female Titan that is also at 46 feet tall. The other attractions at the exhibition, which will be on show from Jan. 23 to May 10, include "Monster Hunter," "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Resident Evil."
At the same time, Kotaku has announced that the 3DS game based on the anime titled "The Last Wings of Mankind -Chain-" will be "a solid upgrade" from its forerunner. In fact, it is ensured that the upcoming game will offer bigger and additional challenging missions to players, meaning that it would be difficult to get through even the characters in the optimal max-level.
In fact, the online multiplayer version of the game that will be available in a World mode has also been acclaimed and it is said to be an even more difficult game compared to the single player.
