'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Release Date: Upcoming Season Delayed Until Manga Series Completion
We have been expecting new episodes of "Attack on Titan" for a while now. Unfortunately, the second season just got hit with a massive delay. According to reports, the delay was caused by the manga of the story.
According to Movie Pilot, the show will wait a little longer to give the manga a chance to be farther ahead from them. This might be a good move after all whether we like it or not. Remember HBO's new problem with "Game of Thrones?" The network has moved nearly past the novel and made a few revisions of their own; knowing that the story is so unpredictable. Now, author George R. R. Martin will be making a huge twist in the plot. Unfortunately for the network, it will involve someone whom they have killed off in the show.
This may be a smart move after all. Even though unlike what HBO is doing, the Attack on Titan show is strictly following the storylines of the manga series.
According to iDigital Times, the show had posted something on their Facebook page with a caption of "Some unfortunate news for season 2." There really has been a lot a hassle in the show in terms of the release date. Now we know that it would probably not be released this year. We all have to wait until the manga ends before the show makes any executions of their own.
Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" will start their sixth season soon.
