'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Release Date News Update: Next Season To Premiere This Year; Covers 'Clash of Titans,' 'Uprising Arcs?'
The production of "Attack on Titan" season 2 is already underway and it may come on air anytime this year.
Fans have been patiently waiting for the new installment of the series since its 3rd season ended in 2013. While the showrunners have not yet confirmed the official premiere date of season 2, a Twitter post about the lineup of Wit Studio projects shows that "Attack on Titan" is already very much in progress and will hit the small screen before 2016 is over.
The post shows that "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" goes on top of the priority list, and there are rumors that this series is one of the reasons for the delay of the production of the "Attack on Titan" season 2. Although it puts a damper on fans that the next installment of "Attack on Titan" is at the bottom of the list, there is still a huge chance that it will be released by the end of this year.
According to reports, "Attack on Titan" season 2 will cover "Clash of Titans" and "Uprising Acres." Since the 25 episodes of season 1 covered the first 34 chapters of the manga, the 25 seasons of season 2 are expected to cover chapters 35 to 70, which include "Clash of Titans" and "Uprising Arcs."
Since the series was confirmed to return for another season, the "Attack on Titan" season 2 has been put on hold twice, creating inconsistencies in the plot and causing varying rumors and speculations to burgeon online.
