The excited fans have claimed that going by the trailer, the movie, based on the manga series "Shingeki no Kyojin" created by Hajime Isayama, is certain to be a major hit.
According to the report, the narration in the recently released 'Attack on Titan' live-action film footage is as follows: "Over one hundred years ago... Half of humanity was eaten by the titans that suddenly appeared... The humanity that remained created a giant wall, and lived peacefully."
A short recap of the dialogue and content in the trailer is posted below:

Latest reports said that though Hajime Isayama is not involved with the film's production, director Shinji Higuchi is working with the manga creator with a view to make certain that the movie adaptation of the manga does justice to the hit manga series.
Meanwhile, the 'Attack on Titan' live-action movie will be split into two films, and both will display the disorganized Titan-plagued world of Eren, Mikasa and new characters. As in the manga, the upcoming movie is also expected to follow the inexhaustible battle between mankind, who are forced behind a wall for self-preservation, and the flesh-eating giants swarming the world outside the wall.
While the first part of the movie will release in Japan on Aug. 1, the second one will hit theaters on Sept. 19.
