'Attack on Titan' Game News, Rumors: Unveils A February 2016 Release Date, With New Characters, Settings

Fans will be able enjoy the upcoming "Attack on Titan" game, as it is set to be released next year, featuring new editions, characters, and locales.

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have already announced that the release date for the "Attack on Titan" game is on Feb. 18, 2016, according to Cross Map. The release date is just four days post Valentines Day, so it is assumed that some boys are set to get a copy of the game as a gift from their loved ones. However, the said release is only for the Japanese market.

"Attack on Titan" is also set to be released in two editions - the "Attack on Titan" First Edition and "Attack on Titan" Treasure Box Edition.

The first edition includes serial codes for cleaning costumes for both Eren and Levi, along with a special feather duster blade. On the other hand, the treasure box edition contains a download code for a Junior High costume for Armin, two sets of Eren, Levi, and Mikasa tin badges, an official survey record collection, a muffler towel, and a soundtrack.

According to Vine Report, the "Attack on Titan" game is also set to introduce a bunch of new characters, including survey corps Erwin Smith and Mike Zacharius; military police Hitch Dreyse, Nile Dok, Marlo Freudenberg; and Titans Eren and the female Titan.

As per the publication, the use of the Titan as a character would provide a new gaming experience to the players, allowing them to play in another perspective as compared to using a solider character. Such Titan characters also have unique abilities such as building breakdown and Titan combat.

The "Attack on Titan" game is also going to have a new stage called the "Stohess District," where players will be able to encounter the female Titan. In addition, another setting will be introduced for players to yield new weapons for their characters.

The upcoming "Attack on Titan" will be released for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 in Japan, Europe, and North America. The game can now be pre-ordered in Amazon Japan.
